Our Space Channel 5 VR initiative covered an approximately six-month period and focused on press relations, outreach and amplification, and social media growth/engagement -- with event presence at TGS, PAX and the Sony Press Event.

Getting the right amount of buzz is crucial for any release, and we make sure to hit all the beats. For SC5 VR we targeted press features, coordinated exclusive reveals, organized demos and hands-on at events, worked with influencers, created unique promotional gifts, and produced out of this world Mixed Reality videos to drive impressions and awareness leading up to launch.

As part of our outreach and amplification strategy, we produced Mixed Reality videos using a specially created green screen set in L.A. We invited press, influencers, and content creators to come and try the demo hands-on, while making sure everyone had a unique souvenir of the experience to share on their respective channels.

STELLAR SWAG
To put the exclamation point on the end of our campaign, we commissioned a recreation of Space Channel 5 VR Ulala’s iconic microphone. Our goal was to have a custom, exclusive, MUST-HAVE gift to share with top tier outlets, influencers, and a few lucky fans to celebrate the heroine reporter’s return, and we think we delivered.
